Wedding Card

Hi all,

I made this card for my nephew’s wedding.  I used the cake and frame from free cards by bird.  I used 3 different types of white card stock.  I really like the way the all white looks.  The card base was embossed with hearts, the frame was white linen card stock and the cake was a combination of the linen and shiny white card stock.  I used pearls from Recollections and little pink roses from my stash.  The center panel with the cake is popped up using pop squares. This card is a little bigger then an A2 size.  It consisted of several layers and took quite a bit of time but  I like the way it came out.  I used my  Silhouette Cameo DE for all the cuts.  It was hard to get a good photo because of the white on white combination.

Dynamic Duos Color Challenge

2013-02-20 20.36.29Hi,

I made this card for the Dynamic Duo’s color challenge. We were to use the color combination turquoise and black. It is hard to see in my picture but the outfits were colored with turquoise and black. The stamps are from Close to My Heart.  I used Tombow dual brush pens and Recollections paper. I love the sentiment. It is sooo true. LOL

Operation Write Home and Doodle Pantry Midweek Throwdown Color Challenge

OWH and Doodle Pantry have decided on a color challenge for this week’s throwdown.  They challenged us to make cards using black & white with a pop
of red or green
for our heroes to send home to their family and friends!

I used paper from Making Memories Wedding pack and a  rose sticker from Recollections.  I cut out the mini tag using My Creative Time teeny tag greetings. Hope you like my card.

Operation Write Home Blog Hop

I made these cards for Operation Write Home’s blog hop. We were to use a winter theme to make cards that our heroes could use to send home to their love ones.  The first one is made using  Close to My Heart winter sentiment and snowflakes from the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. I used liquid pearls to decorate the snowflakes and the ink was one of Megan’s little juicy stamp pads from Above Rubbies Studio.  I love the way the colors match. I added a little stickles to the bottom snowflake and popped up the sentiment and center snowflake to add demension.

The second card was made using the same cartridge and stamp set.  Only this time I used the OWH sketch 139 as my inspiration.  The pattern paper is from Recollections.  I used the liquid pearls again to add demension and sparkle and popped up the center snowflake.

I hope you are enjoying the card hop. Please consider joining us in making cards for our heroes. It is our way of saying thankyou and letting them know we care.  Feel free to leave a comment. I love reading them.

Halloween card using Cricut Paper Pups

Halloween card using Paper Pups cricut cartridge

Hi,
Here is another Halloween card. I used Cricut Paper Pups. I cut the flying pup witch at 2 inches high. I used Martha Stewart Halloween paper from last year. The bats are stickers from Recollections. The haunted house is a Studio 112 stamp I got from the dollar bin at Joanns.
Sorry for the poor pic quality. It looks better in person.
