Hi all,
Here are two birthday cards I made for my granddaughters using the Silhouette Print and Cut feature. They both have December birthdays. One will be 5 and the other will be 2. The older one loves anything Frozen and the younger one loves the Shrek movies. The Anna, Elsa and the castle on the inside are from the LD Ice Princess graphic set. The Shrek is an image I traced. The inside paper and cup cake are Imagine That digi papers. Both cards have pop-up surprises inside. It is hard having a birthday the
week before Christmas but we try to make them very special.
Hi all,
My daughter asked if I could make some Holiday gift envelopes for her. I found these adorable Santa and Snowman short envelope bags in the Silhouette store. They go together easily. Good thing since she needs around 60 of them.
Hi all,
Today is my husband’s birthday. I find male birthday cards hard to make. I guess I just love frilly things. I used paper from a 6×6 pack I purchased at AC Moore. The cake is a cut and print using my Cameo. I welded the 64 to the top of the cake. I also used the paint feature to color the candles to match the cake. The inside is also a file from the silhouette on-line store. I added some glitter with the Wink of Stella pens.
Hi all,
Well tomorrow is Halloween so I thought I would share the Witch Treat Box and 3d Hat that I made with my Cameo. Both of these are in the Silhouette Store . The cute witch treat box is Design ID #67099 and the 3d hat is Design ID #33775 . Of course I added lots of bling and dimensionals to the hat and the witches broom. I filled the treat boxes with 9 pieces of mini candy bars. They are really a nice size.
Have a Happy Halloween!
Hi all,
I made this card for my husband. We just celebrated our 41st anniversary.
I used the Cameo and print and cut to create the image of the fish and sentiment from the LD Hooked On You graphic set. I cut out two of the fish and pop dotted the second one on top of the first. I like the dimension it give to the card. I also printed the background paper which was LD water. I added both the sentiment and the fish to the background paper.
I know some of you are not sure about using the Silhouette V3 but I have had no problems.
Hi all,
Here are two new baby boy cards that I made . One is for the new grandparents and the other is for the new parents.
The first is a Kaboodlebug Design and Original Artwork by Paper Nest Dolls. I found it fairly easy to cut out and piece together
using my Cameo. The papers were from a paper pack I had purchased at Michaels. The blue doily has tiny little footprints
embossed onto it. The sentiment is from a stamp set from My Craft Spot”s Bundle of Joy.
The second card is from the silhouette store -a pop up card with chevron base by Kolette Hall. It was also very easy to assemble. Her website gives a great description of what the card should look like. I love the little elephant holding the balloon . It coordinated beautifully with the paper I had for the front of the card. The sentiment is from the same Bundle of Joy set. I had a lot of fun making these.
Hi all,
I made this card for my nephew’s wedding. I used the cake and frame from free cards by bird. I used 3 different types of white card stock. I really like the way the all white looks. The card base was embossed with hearts, the frame was white linen card stock and the cake was a combination of the linen and shiny white card stock. I used pearls from Recollections and little pink roses from my stash. The center panel with the cake is popped up using pop squares. This card is a little bigger then an A2 size. It consisted of several layers and took quite a bit of time but I like the way it came out. I used my Silhouette Cameo DE for all the cuts. It was hard to get a good photo because of the white on white combination.
Hi all,
Today I am posting an Anniversary Card I made for my daughter and son-in-law. Tomorrow is their 6th anniversary. It is hard to believe 6 years already. So much has changed- all good. They now have 2 beautiful children and a new house.
The card is an A2 size. The file is from the Silhouette on-line store. It originally had thank you as the sentiment. I changed it to Happy Anniversary. I used paper from a wedding pad I bought at Michaels awhile ago. I inked the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink. I made an extra copy of the flower for the inside of the card. The inside sentiment is from a Pink Stamper set.
Hope you all have a great weekend.
Hi all,
Today I made a card for my grand daughter’s first dance recital. The images are from Lettering Delights. I used the print and cut feature of my Cameo. The card base is a Lori Whitlock a2 size
step card from the silhouette on-line store.
