Disney Box in a Card

Hi all.

20140219_180148 20140219_180200 20140219_180234 20140219_180255Today I made my first Box in a Card.  I used the Disney Mickey and Friends Cricut Cart.  I followed the design that Cara Miller posted for the box on her Let’s Learn Cricut Facebook page.  It is a closed group but if you are interested let me know so I can get you added. She provided the CCR file for the box and I was able to figure out the size of the images I wanted to add.  I cut most of the images at 2.5 inches. When it is closed it folds flat so you can put it in an envelope.  It was a lot of work but I made it for my grandson’s first birthday next week and he is worth all the effort!

I am also going to enter this in CARDZTV   3d birthday challenge.  I hope you all have a great day.

Decoration/Card Using Happy Hauntings and Fantabulous Cricut Challenge 182

Hi all,

I originally intended this project to be a card but after it was completed I decided to keep it as a table decoration.  It looks so cute on my kitchen shelf.  I was inspired to create this project by Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog.  They asked us to Create a project using Black & Purple as your main colors.   I used the cricut Happy Hauntings cartridge and cut the witch at 4 inches with all her layers.  I made a step card and attached her, the title and the ghost from the same cartridge to the first and top steps.  I added google eyes and embossed the broom with the swirls folder and my cuttlebug. The paper is from a Halloween pack I purchased at Michaels last year.2013-10-16 10.17.052013-10-16 10.18.03

Decorate To Celebrate! Challenge #61: Witch’s Brew (Halloween

2013-10-03 17.14.52Hi all,

Today I made these cute Halloween barrettes and pumpkin bag for my little grand daughters.  I used the Cricut Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 for the pumpkin bag.  I made the hair clips using the Clever Barrette Covers dies  from PTI. The flowers were made with a Sizzix die .  I had a lot of fun making these and know my grand daughters will love them.

I am entering these into the decorate to celebrate challenge #61 Witch’s Brew. You can follow their blog at http://decoratetocelebrate.blogspot.com/     Their design team offers loads of great ideas for making fun projects to add to parties or home decor.

Halloween trifold card

Hi everyone,
I hope your week is going well.
I am working on some Halloween cards for a fun swap at My Fun Crafts.
I was inspired to make trifold cards from a video on Craft e Corner.
My ghost is from Cricut cartridge Paper Doll Dress Up. The cute face is a Peachy Keen stamp. The paper is from my stash from last year. I used Martha Stewart embossing powder for the BOO inside the card.
Hope you have a great first week back to school. Halloween will be here before we know it.
PS. I just received my Fiskateer scissors from Fiskars, a wonderful free gift for becoming a Fiskateer, #9430. Thankyou Fiskars!!!Halloween trifold card
