Missing You Card for OWH
Hi all,
Today I made a missing you card for OWH. The image is a print and cut from the Silhouette on line store. The sentiment is a stamp I purchased at Michael’s. l have several different missing you cards that I made and plan to include in my box of cards to OWH. This card is a combination of Cameo and Cricut cuts. I used my Cameo for the print and cut and my Cricut Expression and Elegant Edges for the mat.
I am also entering this card in Pause Dream Enjoy’s Linky party.
Square1Printable Rainbow Dash Shirt
Hi all,
I finished my granddaughter’s Rainbow Dash Shirt for her birthday. I used the Square1 printable material. I love Square1. I designed the shirt with my Cameo using the Designer Edition. I then colored the shapes in using the paint bucket. I sized the image to 71/2 and printed it out–using registration marks. Make sure you print on the fabric side-shiny side goes down on the mat. I then cut it out with my Cameo. I used the settings for cotton fabric, blade 5 and double cut. All I had to do then was iron it onto the shirt. You can find out more about Square1 here http://shop.square1masterpiece.com/?Click=657 Square1 is a safe alternative to vinyl. I can’t wait to give my granddaughter the shirt.
Square1 Printable Iron On
Hi all,
I made these cute shirts for my grandchildren using Square1 Printable Iron On. I love the Square1 products. You can find out more about it here http://shop.square1masterpiece.com/?Click=657 . I designed the images using the Sillhouette DE and the print and cut feature of my Cameo. I washed the shirts first and ironed them. Then I printed my design, using my home printer, cut them out with my Cameo and then ironed the images onto the shirts. It is that easy. The heat of the iron sets the ink. They are washable and can be put in dryer on low heat.
Hulk Card for Operation Write Home
Hi all,
I hope you all had a great Easter. The weather here was perfect and my grandchildren had a blast looking for their eggs. Spending time with family and making memories is what it is all about.
I made this card with SVG Cutting files Hulk image. I love their images. They come together easily. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the image and the print and cut feature to print and cut the sentiment. I think this will be perfect for a little boy and will add several of these to my box of cards for Operation Write Home. It is an A2 size card and the image was cut at approximately 3 inches. I used Tim Holtz distress inks on the edges. The gate is a Martha Stewart punch.
Easter Box in Card
Hi all,
Today I made an Easter Box in a Card for my grandchildren. I used my Cameo and a file from the silhouette on-line store by Lori Whitlock for the base of the card. The card is an A2 size when folded . The cute Easter images and paper are from an LD file I purchased. I cut the images at approximately 2 inches using the print and cut feature. I also added another insert to the box so I could use more images.
I am entering this into Cardz TV Card Challenge # 5 Create a card for Easter.
Square1Masterpiece Printables
Hi all,
Thought I would share some fun things I made for my granddaughter. She loves Sheriff Caillie and asked if I would make her a costume. I had the vest from when her mom was a little girl. I used the square1 masterpiece printable http://shop.square1masterpiece.com/?Click=657 to make a sheriff badge for both the hat and the vest. The image is on square1 heat transfer printable. I also bought blue pants , a pink bandana and made boot covers out of pink felt. I am anxious for her to see them tomorrow.
Operation Write Home Blog Hop
I made these cards for Operation Write Home’s blog hop. We were to use a winter theme to make cards that our heroes could use to send home to their love ones. The first one is made using Close to My Heart winter sentiment and snowflakes from the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. I used liquid pearls to decorate the snowflakes and the ink was one of Megan’s little juicy stamp pads from Above Rubbies Studio. I love the way the colors match. I added a little stickles to the bottom snowflake and popped up the sentiment and center snowflake to add demension.
The second card was made using the same cartridge and stamp set. Only this time I used the OWH sketch 139 as my inspiration. The pattern paper is from Recollections. I used the liquid pearls again to add demension and sparkle and popped up the center snowflake.
I hope you are enjoying the card hop. Please consider joining us in making cards for our heroes. It is our way of saying thankyou and letting them know we care. Feel free to leave a comment. I love reading them.

Midweek Throwdown Color Challenge at OWH
This week at Operation Write Home there is a color challenge using Red & Green! We’re to make cards using the colors Red & Green for our heroes to send home to their family and friends! I used Cricut Snow Friends cartridge to make my snowman cut at 3 inches. I added a little stickles to the snowflake on his shirt to give it a little shimmer. The paper was from a holiday pack I got last year.
