Kite Card for Operation Write Home’s Midweek Throwdown: Go Fly A Kite!

Hi all,

Operation Write Home requested we make a card with a kite for their Midweek Throwdown: Go Fly A Kite!  I thought this cute bird flying a kite was perfect for it.  I used the cut and print feature of my Cameo to cut the design.  I added lots of additional color with Tombow dual brush pens.  I also added some glimmer with Glossy Accents.  The card is an A2 size .  I printed the sentiment using my computer.

Please consider making cards for this great organization.  The soldiers also enjoy getting any hero mail.

Operation Write Home VCMP Final Challenge

Hi, The final challenge is to use a negative of a die or punch.

2013-08-13 07.58.13I used the negative cut of my shape on the butterfly paper and stamped my sentiment in the space created when I taped it onto my card. I used a Martha Stewart stamp for the butterfly, colored it with Tombow Dual Brush pens and hand cut it out.

Dynamic Duos Color Challenge

2013-02-20 20.36.29Hi,

I made this card for the Dynamic Duo’s color challenge. We were to use the color combination turquoise and black. It is hard to see in my picture but the outfits were colored with turquoise and black. The stamps are from Close to My Heart.  I used Tombow dual brush pens and Recollections paper. I love the sentiment. It is sooo true. LOL

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 34 color inspiration

I am submitting this card in the Peachy Keen Stamps challenge 34 color inspiration. The little gnomes are one of their mini stamps. I colored them with Tombow dual brush pens and added a little stickles to give the card a little glimmer.
