World Card Making Day Operation Write Home Bloghop

WCDstart[1]Hi all,

Today is the World Card Making Day Bloghop with Operation Write Home.

Bloghop theme: Make thank you cards based on one of our OWH sketches.

I choose bonus sketch #5 for my card.  I used Recollections paper from Michaels,My Cricut Expression and the Cricut Paisley cart for the scallop border, Spellbinders die, My Creative TIme button die, Cuttlebug . Studio G sentiment stamp and some raffia for the ribbon.

  6. I haven’t done a ‘ruffle’ technique in a long while. I’m glad you’ve reminded me of it today. The checked paper is a nice choice with the royal blue solid. Thanks for joining in the hop and supporting OWH.

  11. Holy Scallops! These cards are really beautiful. I love the simplicity of a two color choice and how you’ve created a nice contrast placing patterned paper next to your solid.
