Square1 Printable Iron On

Hi all,

I made these cute shirts for my grandchildren using Square1 Printable Iron On.  I love the Square1 products. You can find out more about it here http://shop.square1masterpiece.com/?Click=657 .  I designed the images using the Sillhouette DE and the print and cut feature of my Cameo.  I washed the shirts first and ironed them.  Then I printed my design, using my home printer,  cut them out with my Cameo and then ironed  the images onto the shirts.  It is that easy.  The heat of the iron sets the ink.  They are washable and can be put in dryer on low heat.

Hulk Card for Operation Write Home

Hi all,

I hope you all had a great Easter.  The weather here was perfect and my grandchildren had a blast looking for their eggs.  Spending time with family and making memories is what it is all about.

I made this card with SVG Cutting files Hulk image.  I love their images. They come together easily.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the image and the print and cut feature to print and cut the sentiment.  I think this will be perfect for a little boy and will add several of these to my box of cards for Operation Write Home.  It is an A2 size card and the image was cut at approximately 3 inches.  I used Tim Holtz distress inks on the edges. The gate is a Martha Stewart punch.

Easter Card

Hi all,

I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter.  I hope you are able to spend time with family and friends.  I am having my family for dinner.  I always enjoy watching the little ones hunt for eggs.  I hope the weather is nice so we can hide the eggs outside.

I made this Easter card for my mom.   The cross is from the silhouette on-line store.  The card base from SVG Cutting Files-ornate card bases.   I used the off set feature to create a border for the cross and ran the cross through my crimper to create texture.Easter cross card2014-04-15 17.54.04 Happy Easter!

New Baby Card

Hi all,

I made this New Baby Card for my daughter’s friend.  She just welcomed a new granddaughter to her family.  I used a file from the Silhouette on-line store for the little onesies.  The paper and embellishments  are from my stash.  The sentiment is a Hampton Arts stamp.

Easter Box in Card

Hi all,

Today I made an Easter Box in a Card for my grandchildren.  I used my Cameo and a file from the silhouette on-line store by Lori Whitlock for the base of the card.  The card is an A2 size when folded .  The cute Easter images  and paperEaster box in a card are from an LD file I purchased.                                                                                                         I cut  the images at approximately 2 inches using the print and cut feature. I also added another insert to the box so I could use more images.                                                                                  Easter box in a cardI am entering this into Cardz TV Card Challenge # 5  Create a card for Easter.

Princess Pop-Up Castle Birthday Card

Hi all,

I just love some of the pop-up cards in the Silhouette-on-line store.  I used the 3d castle pop-up card by Lori Whitlock Design ID #39780 along with LD Happily Ever After files to create this Princess Pop-Up Castle Birthday Card.

Princess pop up card inside Princess pop up front  It was very easy to put together.  The Pop-Up file cuts a perfect A2 size card.  I used the Silhouette Cameo print and cut feature for the card front.  Of course I added some bling on her ears and gloves.  The paper was from my stash but I think I got it at Michael’s.

Hope you all have a great day!

Waterfall Birthday Card

Hi all,

Here is a card I made for my daughter-in-laws birthday.   The waterfall birthday card is from the Silhouette store Design ID #42692.  It is a Lori 2014-03-10 15.14.10Whitlock design.  I watched her video to learn how to put it together.  It was very easy to follow.  2014-03-10 15.14.332014-03-10 15.14.552014-03-10 15.14.102014-03-10 15.15.09

Once you download your pictures, you can add them to the shape in the Silhouette DE studio.  You place the pic behind the shape and select crop.  The pic then becomes the size of the shape.  I added the pics to the pink squares and assembled the card as per the instructions on the video.  I attached gold star brads and a little handle.  The pics cascade down when the handle is pulled.

I really like the way this came out and it makes a birthday card very personalized and special.

My daughter-in-law loved it.

Using Vinyl

Hi all,

Well I finally gave vinyl a try and was so surprised at how easy it really was.  I bought the vinyl from Cricut during their holiday sale.  It is oracal 631.  I used my cameo silhouette and their suggested settings for vinyl.  I placed my vinyl on a mat (although I know some people just feed it through without a mat)  I felt more comfortable using one.  It cut my monogram perfectly.  The silhouette weeding tool is a must have for weeding the vinyl.  I used the Cricut transfer tape,  made sure to completely rub the image and with a little extra rubbing power removed the shape and placed it on my vase.  2014-01-23 10.29.44

I am a newbie with vinyl and if I can do it I am sure anyone can.  Give it a try. I know I am now hooked and looking at what else I can decorate with my vinyl.2014-01-23 10.29.34

Operation Write Home VCMP Cards For Kids Challenge

2013-09-0413.24.56The challenge on this stop is to make a kiddie card using the tic-tac-toe board
shown below. I choose to go down the center row for my card.  This was a lot of fun to make.  The sheep is from the silhouette store.  The fence is a Martha Stewart punch. It originally had little bats on the posts but I clipped them off so it wouldn’t be just for Halloween. Thank you Scrapping with Purpose for a great challenge.
