Using Vinyl

Hi all,

Well I finally gave vinyl a try and was so surprised at how easy it really was.  I bought the vinyl from Cricut during their holiday sale.  It is oracal 631.  I used my cameo silhouette and their suggested settings for vinyl.  I placed my vinyl on a mat (although I know some people just feed it through without a mat)  I felt more comfortable using one.  It cut my monogram perfectly.  The silhouette weeding tool is a must have for weeding the vinyl.  I used the Cricut transfer tape,  made sure to completely rub the image and with a little extra rubbing power removed the shape and placed it on my vase.  

I am a newbie with vinyl and if I can do it I am sure anyone can.  Give it a try. I know I am now hooked and looking at what else I can decorate with my vinyl.
