Hi,

I have been busy making cards for Operation Write Home.  This week’s challenge was to make a card with a fun fold.  I chose a swing birthday cake card that I  got from the  on-line store.  I decorated the front of the card with Tim Holtz distress inks.  I used the cut outs for the cake as masks for the front.   The icing layer on the front of the card was a  Martha Stewart stamp I purchased during Halloween. I love using my stash for things other than what they were intended for.  I used Recollections paper for the base and inside of the card.  I added a little stickles to the candles on the front.

I had a lot of fun making this card.
