Valentine Box Card from SVGCuts

Hi all,

I know it has been awhile since I posted.  I have been dealing with health issues with my mom.  So far the treatments seem to be working.  Lots of dr. visits.  Hoping 2016 is a better year.

I made these Valentine Boxes for my grandchildren.  They are from SVGCuts.com and were fairly easy to put together.  I used Tombow  glue for the box and it gave a good seal.  I also made the envelope provided  for the box and it fit perfectly.  I used a lot of papers from my stash.  Hope you like them!  The kiddies did.Valentine box2016-02-10 08.02.06

Valentine Mailbox Box Card

Hi all,

I made two of these SVGCuts Valentine Mailbox Cards for my grandchildren.  I love SVGCut files. I used paper I purchased last year. The boxes came together easy but still are time-consuming.  They are an act of love. I suggest using a very strong adhesive on the box to hold it together.

SVG Cuts Tea Pot Box Card

Hi all,

I made this SVG Cuts Tea Pot Box Card for my mom’s birthday.  She is a huge coffee drinker so I consider the pot to be a coffee pot. LOL   I used all the  layers provided by SVG Cuts.  The box takes a little time to assemble but once you make one of this type, it is easy.  I find choosing the paper to be the hardest part of any card.  I added some bling to the flowers–little gems I had in my stash.   I also added some sparkle with Wink of Stella glitter pens.  An envelope  layer is provided but I think I might have one that it will fit.  The finished card is a little bit larger–in height then the standard A2 card.coffee cup box card20141120_142350coffeepot box card 0141120_142336 coffee cup box card20141120_142319

Castle Box Card

Hi all,

Today I made a Castle Box Card for my granddaughter’s birthday.  The file is from SVGCuts.  You can find it at SVGCuts.com.  It was fairly easy to put together.  I cut all the pieces with my Cameo. I also added vellum behind the windows and door.  The jewels and little flowers were from my stash.  I often cut out extra little pieces to keep on hand.  I am also making her a My Little Pony Rainbow Dash shirt (her favorite pony)  and will share that later.   Castle front2014-06-02 19.30.06
